The Amsterdam: Great food and drink

About:

The Amsterdam is a bar that serves food and drinks located in Merchant City. The food ranges from burgers to loaded fries and tacos. They also have a basement which includes live music from DJs and you can find what events they host through there website. The Amsterdam in my opinion has higher quality food although on the more pricey side. 

Pros:

Food is great and drinks are also good

Has a great atmosphere 

Has a basement with a dancefloor where music is played

Has events hosted in the basement

Able to sit and enjoy a meal outside (Depending on the weather)

Staff are friendly and kind

Open throughout the day and until late evening. Usually 12pm-12am. 

Cons:

Expensive 

Venue is a little small

Sometimes they have good promotions such as 25% off for students. 

Shows sports game such as live rugby. 

Overall:

Overall I think The Amsterdam is a good place to try out. Personally I really enjoy the food and although it is more expensive than other places the quality makes up for it. If your coming for food and drinks you wont be disappointed. The burgers are my personal favourite as they are smashed patties, which are very flavourful and juicy. 

It also has vegetation options.  

The pints and drinks on a whole seem to be fairly priced coming in around £5 or lower (Guinness, Tennent's, Corona) 

They offer other drinks such as cocktails and wine. 

Food prices are on the high end as a single burger can range from £10 to £13 just on its own, however, the quality makes up for it.
