What to expect

When entering the venue you have a choice to either go up or downstairs. The upstairs offers live music performance and also has a bar and seating for drinks. Personally, what I like about the upstairs is the outside area where you can catch some fresh air and relax with friends in the seating that is provided. It is a great place to gather thoughts and sit back and relax with friends whilst having a nice refreshing drink. Onto the downstairs you will find the ballroom, this is also where live music is played and the DJs that play are shown on there website or on their Instagram where people can view who is playing what and when. The downstairs tends to be where there is a dancefloor in the middle and a couple of bars on either side.

What is the experience like?

Wunderbar always has a buzzing atmosphere and on some days such as Fridays or Saturdays it can be extremely busy. On the weekdays you cant go wrong, it always has live music performance and it always has a lively atmosphere. The venue is huge, and provides different areas where you can choose to relax or be part of the crowd. I really enjoy that the venue provides this as it allows you to suit yourself to whatever mood you are feeling.

Overall view

I believe wunderbar is one of the most lively and bustling bars you can find in the city. From the music to the atmosphere, to the venue, it provides a great place to socialise with friends whilst enjoying a drink or being part of the electric crowd. You simply cannot go wrong with it.

From the inside the restaurant looks modern and was surprisingly large in size. It has expanded in growth overtime starting with a 28 seater restaurant in Bradford to now having over 10 restaurants located across the UK with over 300 staff and 60 chiefs. It has attracted the likes of many celebrities and famous people such as Amir Khan and Boris Johnson.
